David and Carla Blumenkrantz started Resolution Photographics with the idea that photography and graphic design are not just a business. Their shared background in photojournalism informs both their event photography and portraiture, as they sincerely care about the important events in life, and strive to create images that capture real feelings and moments in a dramatic, professional manner.
Resolution Photographics allows David and Carla to combine their various talents into an organization that provides a wide variety of services. David, who teaches photojournalism and visual communication courses at the university level, has been involved in event photography for more than 20 years, and is a photographer, writer, and videographer. He holds an MFA in Visual Communication, an MA in Art Education and a BA in Journalism. He spent eight years working as a documentarist in Africa, where he specialized in environmental portraiture. Carla holds degrees in both photojournalism and graphic design, and with a background in Art History, she brings a genuine artistic flair to her designs and photography, including studio portraiture and product photography. |
