Con 6 increíbles lecturas dramatizadas de autores como Isaac Chocrón, y el internacionalmente reconocido Moisés Kaufman, un majestuoso opening con el virtuoso pianista Leopoldo Betancourt y conciertos de grupos como el mundialmente conocido c4 Trío, exhibiciones de maravillosas diseñadoras y artistas plásticos Venezolanas, 6 presentaciones teatrales incluyendo una producción especial de “Casting Express” la más reciente obra del galardonado dramaturgo Marcos Purroy en la Lee Strasberg Threater & Film Institute, además de comedias, teatro para la familia e impecables artistas como la siempre divertida e irreverente Mimí Lazo, la multifacética actriz Elba Escobar y la estrella latina de Broadway George Akram, el Venezuelans in NYC Festival se apodera de la gran manzana!
En noviembre tendrá lugar la primera edición del Venezuelans in NYC Festival, organizado por El Centro de Directores para el Nuevo Teatro, Ishow NY Productions, Fractal Studio y Aurea Concept con el apoyo y patrocinio de Repertorio Español, GOYA, Palo de Agua Producciones y The Lee Strasberg Threater & Film Institute. Esta iniciativa abre una importante puerta para los artistas venezolanos residenciados o no en la gran manzana, y el ideal de sus organizadores es que la experiencia se repita anualmente, convirtiéndose en cita obligatoria para todos los que estén interesados en conocer el talento venezolano y en una posibilidad de expansión para los creadores de este país latinoamericano.
Contando con más de 20 años de experiencia, 3 Festivales de Dramaturgos Venezolanos en Nueva York y 2 en París, sumado a las 92 espectáculos producidos desde 1996, el Centro de Directores para el Nuevo Teatro trae al público de la Ciudad de Nueva York dos semanas con lo mejor del arte Venezolano, un festival que promete ser referencia obligada para un público en busca de una propuesta diferente y entretenida.
Del 1ro de Noviembre al 12 los invitamos a ser parte del Venezuelans in NYC Festival en sus distintos eventos en el Repertorio Español, el Taller Latino Americano, la Lee Strasberg Theater & Film Institute y la nueva tienda y taller de diseño y arte Gesamtkunstwerk.

In November New York City welcomes the first “Venezuelans in New York City Festival” hosted by the “Centro de Directores para el Nuevo Teatro”, Ishow NY Productions, Fractal Studio and Aurea Concept with the support of the Repertorio Español, GOYA, Palo de Agua Producciones and The Lee Strasberg Theater & Film Institute. This initiative opens a huge door for Venezuelan artists who reside in and out of the Big Apple, and the producers of the event wish to repeat it annually, making it a common space for artists, creators and everyone interested in Venezuelan talent to share and meet at least once a year.
Counting with more than 20 years of experience, 3 “Venezuelan playwrights in New York” festivals, and 2 in Paris, added to more than 92 shows produced since 1996, the Centro de Directores para el Nuevo Teatro brings to the New York City audience two weeks of the best of Venezuelan art, a festival that shows promise as a reference for public searching for a new, different and entertaining proposal.
